So! I was told I should have a small gathering at my house before I return to the waste land known only as New Mexico. So I am. I'm thinking this Saturday night through to Sunday morning. Bring movies, games, clothings, food/money for food, and any sleep equipment which will be required. You guys know who I like and who I don't, so invite anyone who fits the "like" criteria. If you're unsure, ask me. If there are problems with the date, then talk to me soon, but keep in mind I leave bright and early Monday. Look forward to seeing you all. Ciao!

Ok, time to see who still checks this. I know its been almost a year since my last post, but things have just been not that... note-worthy as of late. Had a good break. It was great seeing those of you I saw, and I regret not seeing those of you I didn't see, unless I didn't want to see you, then it was fortunate.

I caught this stupid flu thats going around, and let me tell you, it sucks. I dunno if its just cause I don't get sick very often, or that I got it worse than most people, but I feel like I'm dieing. It hurts to breath. Man this sucks.

I started up a band dudes!
We're called "Sainte-Florence, Quebec" and we're putting out our first album titled "Turnditch" next fall. We already have a track list, in case anyones interested:

Ok, I'm sick of the internet here. Or potentially my computer. OR perhaps both. But something fucked up is going on. I can't log onto aim using any software client. Adium, trillian, Ichat, AIM client. All fail. I've only recently been able to get on using meebo.com (thanks Liz, you're a life saver) On top of that, all the other instant chat softwares wont work either, with exception to MSN and Y!. Something about timing out and sockets not being connected. Additionally, I can connect to Steam, Battle.net, or the WOW server. 4chan wont load, and I'm just generally pissed. I know that the AIM thing is at least parially my computers fault, as other computers can log on, and when I plug into the same port, I still can't connect. No one can get onto Steam here, and the same goes for 4chan. Not sure about WoW or Battle.net. Either way, I'm so pissed off. This weekend was supposed to be my return to DotA and WoW, and a chance to play portal and TF2. NONE OF IT! AAAARAAAHG

10:49 am - Day one of Cat dissection

So today I started my cat dissection in lab. It wasn't as bad as I though it would be. I now smell of preservatives, and both showers are occupied. We just worked on the leg of the cat, pulling apart muscles and fat and what not. Next we're gonna work on the different systems. I'm looking forward to nervous system. Brain and spinal column. Pics to come.

So, I went to the New Pornographers concert in Albuquerque last night. It was pretty good. Not as good as their recorded stuff, but thats to be expected. There are so many people on stage, its hard to coordinate that well. I picked up the vinyl of their latest album "Challengers". Its pretty good, on par with Electric version I'd say. Not quite as good as Mass Romantic or Twin Cinema.

Alright, that time is almost upon us. Sakuracon is right around the corner, and while most of you don't care, its to the few of you who do I write this message. If you want anything from the dealers room, or want me to keep an eye out for a certain cosplay, or get an autograph for ya, just let me know soon. I already have a somewhat long list of things to get for people, but I can still add a couple more things. If you want me to buy ya something, I'll need the cash BEFORE I go.
